Sabrina, for the past
nine years, has grown up by the sides of the painter, Édouard Richards, in
painting and sculptures, sold in many countries of the world...and to private
collectors.
Painting is my way to
express myself and if one asks me what represents art for me, I would simply say
that they are of the order of the unspeakable.
I made of my profession,
my passion; however, even if the
art market in Mauritius
is quite tough, I rely on internet to reach an international public. I was
thrown and soaked up to bones in painting.
I’m proud to say that I
have many techniques of creation, the most important being doubtless my humour,
I paint, sculpt, model with impulse, each of my work has a history, it reflects
a big part of my life that I can’t contain inside.
Some of my works are not
exposed to the public nor sold because of a sensitive personal feeling.
My encounter with Édouard was a very big revelation and since, we became
RichKat, we create in duet. Naturally, we do also paint in solo and express our
personal feelings in our paintings. Our workshop is opened to the public; you
can find all our works there, in duet and solo.

Edouard Richards,
long-time creator in the luxury (jewellery and watch making), supplier of the
biggest names of the planet and painter since years.
In his long numerous
journeys, he found his ideal place in Mauritius
where he lives for more than thirty years.
When one asks Édouard
why painting and he simply says that the subject is so vast that one does not
explain why one makes anything on the earth and why even one inhales...especially
when we are painting.
For him, what matters the
most it is to have creative ideas and to always be able to realise what he
imagines.
