Le Méridien Ile Maurice is a luxurious resort located on the sheltered bay of Pointe aux Piments on the north-west coast of Mauritius, with a beach of white sand and turquoise blue water, south–west of the Indian Ocean at latitude 20° South and longitude 57.5° East. Approximately 1,865 square km with 330 km of Coastline almost entirely surrounded by coral reefs.
The resort
The resort is an ideal location for holidays, seminars and meetings with sophisticated convention facilities, a comprehensive Wellness Spa and fitness centre and excellent restaurants and bars. All rooms and suites are facing a beautiful 800 m white sand beach & spread over 15 acres of lush tropical gardens.
Access
The resort is approximately 60kms from the International airport and about 15kms from Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius where the centre of business, entertainment and shopping is located. Taxi, limousine and luxury coach service, car rental and helicopter service are readily available.

The resort offers 198 ocean fronted rooms and Suites including:
- 180 Deluxe Studio style rooms whereby 72 are located on the ground floor with terrace leading onto the gardens and the 108 remaining ones are located on first and second floor with a private balcony.
- 12 Deluxe Duites of 100 m² located on the second floor with spacious private balcony. 6 Suites have an internal tropical garden ideal for couples and honeymooners and 6 boast ideal facilities for children.
- 6 Deluxe Royal Duplex Suites of 140 m² located on the second floor with Panoramic Private balcony, including 4 Suites with suitable facilities for children and 2 with a cocktail bar and dinning area.

67 Bright, airy, and well appointed Nirvana rooms overlook a private, infinity pool, and embody the best of indoor and outdoor living. Rooms are 46 square meters and are equipped with an open plan, marbled bathroom, luxury bathroom amenities, mini bar, tea & fresh coffee facilities, 42” wall-mounted plasmas with interactive television system, complimentary unlimited high-speed internet, and private outdoor balcony, terrace or garden.
Restaurant
La Faya, our speciality restaurant, is now open for breakfast, exclusively for our Nirvana room guests, and continues its usual elegance for lunch and dinner, presenting Mediterranean fine dining with a kiss of the local Creole flavours. The restaurant overlooks the vast Indian Ocean and offers an air-conditioned interior as well as an open terrace and beach area for a relaxed outdoor dining experience.

Shells Restaurant sits rustically on the beach overlooking the ocean and offers a selection of salads, tapas and grills during the day and is transformed into an elegant and romantic Asian Seafood Restaurant in the evening.
La Croque
La Croque offers all day informal snacks and ice creams adjacent to the swimming pool and is a favourite ‘hang out’ for both children and adults.
La Faya
La Faya Restaurant features a wonderful terrace where the waves can be heard lapping against the shore beneath. The menu is an enviable blend of classic French and modern Mauritian cuisine complemented with specially selected wines and cocktails.

Bay View:This social place is a centrally located floating bar, ideal for gathering around a pool table, writing e-mails or watching the sports channel, playing cards or just drinking.
Papaya Bar: Specially created for those who prefer to ‘chill out’ in the swimming pool, this bar is also ideal for those who would like to sit and enjoy the sunset, offering a world of exotic cocktails, fresh juices and hot beverages.
