Workshop in the auditorium including coffee break in the

an indigo factory, and then a sugar factory. It has become since 2003, a
cultural and leisure site. L'Aventure du Sucre is
now an absolute must in the
cultural and touristic landscape of Mauritius.

summaries and in-depth comments, images and spectacular scenes, videos and DVDs
- the exhibition visit will satisfy every age group.
There are several options available
to enjoy the visit: rally-visits which bring an aspect of challenge, private
visits which give the guests a rare opportunity to explore this magnificent site
after normal working hours. In
addition to its museum option, L'Aventure
du Sucre offers a prestigious setting for private functions, including
galas, award ceremonies, product launches, cocktails...
Le Village Boutik
Le Village
Boutik offers a whole range of sugar
related exclusive gifts. It develops its own designs and promotes local craftsmanship
via talented artists, thus offering an inimitable knowhow. A 100% Mauritian brand.
Special Sugars: Daily sugar tasting is organised, giving the guests a
chance to discover these Mauritian gastronomic treasures and
a palette of infinite flavors. Twelve
varieties of unrefined sugars, exclusive to L'Aventure du Sucre are available
in various elegant and contemporary boxes. These special sugars are also available
with other tropical delicatessen (tropical fruit paste, honey, tee, coffee, rum)
in gourmet gift
sets.
The rum: L'Aventure du Sucre rum is a special Mauritian premium rum,
specially branded for our site. Its outstanding bouquet, tropical flavor and taste
will be appreciated by the most discerning connoisseur.. Very much demanded by the
visitors, the rum can be tasted in its original state or mixed with special
sugar and tropical fruits and spices.
Le Fangourin
In the midst of the Beau Plan estate, the Fangourin
offers a outstanding environment for all types of events. With its perfectly preserved vegetation, its
picturesque pond with lush greenery and geese, the restaurant offers a stress
free environment conducive to relaxation.
Its majestic and glamorous cachet is further enhanced
in the evening and private receptions are a wow experience with our special
lighting that brings out the delightful vegetation and premises.
Its central location, between Port
Louis and Grand
Bay makes it an ideal
spot for business people as well as visitors.
The Fangourin cuisine is inspired from unique flavors
while maintaining a rich Mauritian culinary heritage.
It is now a renowned restaurant
thanks to its colourful and gourmet cuisine.
Le Fangourin has a charming traditional veranda, an
air-conditioned VIP room as well as an open terrace with tropical umbrellas.
For receptions, a new set up (covered veranda area) is
offered for a minimum of 200 hundred guests. An original designed marquee is also available for the veranda extension
and can also be placed amidst our exclusive garden.
Le Fangourin can accommodate up to 80 guests in its current configuration.
For reception, lunch or dinner time, it can host:
up to 200 people for seated receptions, buffet or plated
menus for larger groups (up to 350 guests), freeform tents are used to complete the set
up.
The Auditorium
Inside
its magnificent exhibition, L'Aventure du Sucre offers complete convention
facilities, with specific set ups that can be tailor made to your requests. The
Auditorium has a seating capacity for 80 to 100 delegates, depending on the
configuration chosen. It is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and adjustable
air conditioning and lighting.
A
catering service is also offered by the Fangourin restaurant-tea room for
lunch, cocktail or coffee break.
