Mauritius is a romantic island destination. Should you wish to get married at La Perle d'Azur, your ground agent can assist with the legal formalities, catering, a photographer and accommodation on a full-board basis.
We have had a number of weddings at La Perle d'Azur and it is a beautiful spot for photographs. Depending on your requirements, we can put together a suitable package, on a full-board basis, which will include various activities, sightseeing and educational tours around the island, depending on your interests.
From the warm welcome until your departure, we will take care of everything.

To save you the hassle of shopping on your first morning, we now offer a grocery shopping service (including alcohol, fruit and vegetables). You may choose some typical dishes from our recommended menus, add whatever else you would like for the other meals, and we will shop and pack it away, ready for your arrival. We can also assist by planning a menu for your entire stay and handle all the shopping for you

Some typical Mauritian dishes are:
- Faratas (like pancakes) served with different delicious vegetable, meat and chicken fillings served with various chutneys
- Chicken and prawn curry
- Dry beef curry served with bread croutons, peanuts and raisins
- Rougaille of pork sausages. Sauce made with herbs, garlic, tomatoes and onions.
- Rougaille of salted fish
- Rougaille of small freshwater river shrimps and "brede songe"
- Barbecue of fresh crayfish or fish from the lagoon (when available)
- Gratin of various vegetables
- Gratin of crab
- Samoosas, chilli bites and sweet potato cakes

- Catamaran trip to see the dolphins and snorkel

- Enjoy a game of golf at one of the excellent golf courses 25 minutes away, including the new course on the Ile aux Cerfs, designed by Bernard Langer.
- Grand Baie, 25 minutes away, is a busy town offering local nightclubs, restaurants, galleries, and tourist shops
- Relax with a sundowner in the gazebo and watch the beautiful colours of the sunset or the rising moon over the lagoon
